After years of protecting and comforting lower extremity residual limbs, Ohio Willow Wood’s Alpha® Liners are now available to meet the needs of upper extremity amputees. The Alpha UE Locking Liner is now available specifically for transradial and transhumeral amputees. The feature differentiating this liner from others in the Alpha family is the unique oval-shaped umbrella which allows for a more comfortable fit for upper extremity amputees. This umbrella better matches the upper limb anatomy than the standard circular-shaped umbrella. The Alpha UE Locking Liner utilizes the same thermoplastic elastomer used in its best-selling Alpha Liners. The gel gently adheres to the skin to protect against abrasion and breakdown. The liners, available only in locking style, have a 3mm uniform gel pattern and are offered in three sizes. Alpha UE Liners are available in Original and Spirit fabrics. Ohio Willow Wood, located in Mt. Sterling, Ohio, is an innovative industry leader in the manufacturing and distribution of prosthetic products, including the Alpha® family of liners, the Pathfinder® II foot and the OMEGA® Tracer® CAD system.
