OHIO WILLOW WOOD LAUNCHES INTERCHANGEABLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Practitioners now have a new choice when it comes to versatile suspension…the Alpha® Interlock Suspension System from Ohio Willow Wood This new system allows one socket to have interchangeable suspension methods!
The Alpha Interlock Suspension System delivers versatility in one simple package. The system’s distal adapter can be fabricated into a socket and then the suspension component can be interchanged from a pin lock, a lanyard lock, or a suction device without having to remake the socket. The system delivers even more versatility in that it can be used in both thermoplastic and laminated sockets.
Customers may purchase a complete kit which includes three distal adapters, an Alpha Lock body, an Alpha Lanyard body, and a Suction Insert body. The Alpha Lock and Alpha Lanyard included in this system will replace the previous Alpha Lock and Alpha Lanyard which Ohio Willow Wood has offered since 1999 and 2001, respectively. All components of the Alpha Interlock Suspension System may also be ordered separately. The Alpha Interlock Suspension System was designed primarily for use with Alpha Liners.
The patient weight limit of the system is 250 pounds. All components of the Alpha Interlock Suspension System have a 12-month warranty from date of purchase. The system is now available for purchase domestically as well as internationally.
