Prosthetic capabilities of OMEGA® Tracer® have recently been expanded through a new partnership between Ohio Willow Wood and ContourMed. This team-up adds the capability of creating advanced breast prostheses using OMEGA Tracer and ContourMed’s fabrication services. The OMEGA Scanner has been designated the preferred shape capture device for ContourMed, the leader in the development and manufacturer of custom breast prostheses. The OMEGA Scanner is a 3-D hand-held, laser imager and shape capture tool of the OMEGA Tracer system by Ohio Willow Wood.
Established in July 2001, ContourMed, Inc. is a medical technology manufacturer that produces external prosthetic breast products handcrafted by specialized technicians in the U.S. It is the sole and exclusive beneficiary to the license(s) of intellectual property developed at the Arkansas Cancer Research Center at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
