Ohio Willow Wood and Total O&P Enter Indian Market
Ohio Willow Wood is partnering with Total O&P of Noida, India, to provide prosthetic products, clinical support, and CAD/CAM solutions for the orthotics and prosthetics industry in India. The partnership is the latest advancement of Ohio Willow Wood’s commitment to provide quality prosthetic components and newest CAD/CAM technology to the global orthotics and prosthetics market.
Total O&P was introduced to the Indian orthotics and prosthetic (O&P) market at the Orthotic and Prosthetic Society of India meeting held in January 2008 in Hyderabad, the country’s fifth largest metropolitan area. Total O&P is a unique, cooperative venture founded by Amit Bhanti, CPO and Aditya Nath under the Chairmanship of Vinod Bhanti, a very well known figure in the Indian O&P market. Tarun Kulshrestha is the managing director of Total O&P’s operations and brings over 17 years of O&P experience. Their intent for the venture is to provide the independent patient care facilities in India with a new alternative for clinical training, product supply, central fabrication, and clinical support. Total O&P will serve as the distribution representative for an assortment of Ohio Willow Wood products, including the OMEGA® Tracer® System, prosthetic feet, and the full range of Alpha® Liners.
