Prosthetic Technician

Ohio Willow Wood is currently looking for a qualified, dedicated prosthetic technician to join our team of professional custom fabrication specialists located in Mt. Sterling, Ohio.

The technician will be responsible for the fabrication of lower limb prosthetics, socket fabrication using both plaster casts and electronic files, laminating sockets, thermo plastic sockets, shaping of foam covers and operation of OMEGA Carver. The skill and experience requirements for this job include:

• Two or more years of experience with standard prosthetic fabrication techniques along with basic computer skills.
• A registered Technician in Prosthetics is preferred to fill the position, but this is not an absolute requirement.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, and be capable of operating machinery such as sanders, grinders, drill presses, carvers, ovens, etc.
